Silver Workshop – Lost Wax Technique

Prefer working with real silver? Choose our silver workshop to learn the lost wax technique. You’ll first design your piece in wax, which is then cast in silver. These workshops are offered one-on-one or in small groups (max. 4 participants) to ensure plenty of personal guidance.

I had inherited my grandmother’s gold wedding ring, but it had been sitting in a drawer for years because it was far too big and I didn’t know where to go for an original design. Annick listened to my story and designed a beautiful, personalized ring with matching earrings, finished with green emeralds. These are unique pieces that no one else has. Thanks to her craftsmanship and attention to detail, I can finally wear my heirloom. I still receive many compliments on it. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed and guided to the studio. We received a short demonstration where we got to hammer, solder, and heat test materials. When we started working on our own pieces, we realized it was much more challenging than it initially seemed, but we enjoyed every moment and every piece we made. Our session ran a little over time, but that was absolutely fine. In the end, both my friend and I succeeded in creating our own rings. A huge thank you for this magical and unforgettable experience!

For a friend’s 60th birthday, we planned to take a jewelry workshop together as a group of four. It was a wonderful experience to attend the workshop with Annick. She first explains in detail how a piece of jewelry is made from silver or gold. Very interesting—and it also helps you understand why such jewelry is expensive, since so much craftsmanship is involved. We are all very happy with our pieces. You receive excellent guidance, and she beautifully finishes your jewelry after you create the basic form in wax and then refine the silver-plated version. A truly wonderful experience—I highly recommend it!

I’ve known Annick for several years. I still remember our first meeting at a fair, where my daughter was choosing her very first earrings. After much hesitation, she decided to have them pierced immediately—she was so proud! Over the years, I continued to follow Annick at market stands, always with wonderfully unique jewelry and beautiful designs. I have to say, it really touches you—so many good memories are connected to these pieces. Finally, the moment came to pick up my two new rings, and I fell in love instantly! Some time ago, I was going through my jewelry—gold and silver pieces from my childhood, as well as jewelry from my late mother that holds a lot of nostalgic value for me. When we got married, we had silver wedding rings designed by a jeweller. The result was disappointing: far too expensive, the stones came loose and I got a rash from the ring. Wasn’t there a nickel in it that I’m allergic to? I met Annick at an evening market and our problem with the wedding rings came up. Annick sold us new rings and from the old ones she made a beautiful jewel that I love. With a little leftover she designed a heart with our three letters in it. Our daughter Louise wears it at every party. We are so grateful to her! Afterwards, I bought some beautiful jewels from her and I like to send friends to her.
